Aagam, a socio-thriller, directed by debutant V Vijay Anand Sriram, has French actress Aliona Munteanu in one of the important roles. Aliona, who was seen in international films like Schimb valutar, The Balcony Affair and Flowers of Evil, is currently shooting for the Tamil movie.

“I am essaying the role of a corporate executive in the film. The film deals with a broader social message. I am glad to work with the Aagam team. I am excited to see myself dancing for and singing a Tamil song. Director Vijay Anand and other technicians are dedicated, professional and educated,” says Aliona.

“Hospitality is at its best in this part of the world. Though the food is spicy, I am flattered by its taste. I am learning Tamil now, and I am eager to act in more Tamil films. My French connection will take the film Aagam to a global audience,” said Aliona, concluding with ‘Vanakkam, Nandri’.
